
The UCF Libraries' Art Collections are closed collections. Slides of the pieces are available for use by students and researchers in the Special Collections Reading Room, which is located on the 5th floor of the Main UCF Library, Room 501. Additional materials on Art and artists may be found in the Manuscript Collections. The collections have also been featured in Exhibits.
Requests to view pieces in the collections are assessed on a case by case basis, and priority is given to faculty, graduate students and other serious researchers. Requests to view the collections must be made in writing, and is by appointment only. Patrons may e-mail, fax, mail or use our Online Appointment Form to submit their request. A scholarly collection of over 1,800 books and periodicals on the history, geography, economy, and social
life of the West Indies and the Caribbean area. The collection also includes
paintings, graphics, sculptures, maps, sound recordings, and anthropological
artifacts.
