Student Employment (Online Application Form)

The library continuously employs Federal Work Study and regular undergraduate student assistants for flexible work schedules during day and evening hours, seven days a week.  Library work may include assisting people at a service desk, using computers to find book and journal information, shelving and sorting books, filing, photocopying, answering the phone, and other library duties as assigned.

Library Administration does not make decisions or have information on available positions.  Student hiring is done by individual departments within the library as needed throughout the year. Students looking for part-time employment must complete the online application to be considered for employment. All students will receive a follow-up email, after their application has been submitted, containing further instructions and information about library employment. When an opening occurs, the student supervisor from that department reviews all active applications in the database and contacts students directly for interviews. Applications are kept active in our database for three months. If you have not been contacted within three months and are still interested in employment at the library, please re-submit an application online.
