Kerouac Engages Student Involvement

Student researching in the UCF LibrariesThe University of Central Florida Libraries' exhibit of Kerouac in Florida has been a tremendous success with our students. The exhibit portrays the life and times of Jack Kerouac as a member of the Florida community.

Come celebrate the 50th anniversary of the publication of Jack Kerouac's Dharma Bums with us. You may stop by the UCF main campus library to take a look at the exhibit, or drop in for a marathon reading of Dharma Bums and join a Kerouac book discussion group. In addition, you can also see a presentation by an Emmy award winning reporter and Kerouac book author, and much more!

For a complete listing of events and details concerning the Jack Kerouac exhibit, please visit our exhibits Web site.

Giving to our UCF Knights

By participating in planned gifts you would be supporting UCF in a much greater way than you might have imagined possible. Outright gifts or pledges of cash or other assets represent only one of many ways to give. By also committing to a planned or deferred gift, you can help achieve the university's goals and objectives in a way that could increase your gift to a level considerably higher than you ever anticipated.

In fact, planned gifts are often large enough when ultimately received to establish an endowed fund in the names of the donors to provide scholarships, professorships or assist the college or program of your choice on a perpetual basis. Imagine the benefit UCF students will receive for many generations to come from your thoughtfulness and generosity.

The Office of Library Development is prepared to assist you in ensuring that your legacy lives on at UCF. For more information about giving opportunities please contact us at (407) 823-0564 or visit the UCF Foundation website for easy access to our Online Giving page.
